Meet Dr. Caius and Fenton (AKA Kandy and Kendall) from Shakespear's "Merry Wives of Windsor", performed on April 10, 2010. Wonderful acting, by these two in particular!!!
Kevin and Kirstan did a great job as backstage crew/parents/go-getters! (We didn't get any photos of Kirstan, however---sorry!)
Presto-chango! Dr Caius has almost changed back into Kandy, but had to run out to give her very-best-fan a hug! Kandy did a magical job at playing Dr. Caius, an eccentric frenchman with a totally unique walk, amazing eyes, and accomplished swordsman. Kandy was onstage and totally in character throughout most of the play. She also played Nym, one of Falstaff's guards/drinking buddies.
The cast and directors. An excellent production, well costumed and staged. The actors all had great stage presence, voice projection, and diction.
Kendall's character got the girl! True love won out! After various assorted plot twists and turns, that is! Here he is as Fenton with his bride Anne Page. His voice projection was excellent. Kendall portrays Fenton as honest, caring and dignified. Good job, Kendall.
A last look at Kandy and some of the other cast members.....Ahhh, all the world's a stage...
