While in the burnt forest, a lovely hawk flew directly over us, only about 10 to 15 feet overhead. We were mesmerized so much that we didn't get a photo until he landed in this tree! We really enjoyed this time in this historic area, and plan to revisit it occaisionally to watch the forest come back to life even more.
