Fun Family Home Evening decorating our Christmas tree, while I was mostly on the couch with my knee propped up. Thanks to artists Kirstan, Kandy, Kendall & Bill, it looks lovely!!! It will be fun to have part Christmas & part Thanksgiving decor up on Thanksgiving day---first time ever. I like it!!!
HoneyBear decided to kiss Kandy just as we snapped this photo! We all love visits from Kandy & Kendall, and their parents too. It is sooooo nice to have family close by!
Good job, Kendall! He has grown up so much! A dependable and fun teenager. Last Sunday he was the tallest deacon passing the Sacrament! (Oh, the towels on the piano are for putting snowflakes & ornaments on so they wouldn't get furniture polish on them.)We ended the evening with our homemade frozen yogurt-pineapple bars and popsicles made from our very own concord grapes turned into juice---nothing like store-bought popsicles!!! Kandy suggested "Count Your Blessings" as our closing song. Perfect evening, except we missed Kevin, who had to work.
