Mesa and Ahwatukee Children & Grandchildren!

FUN!!!
While we were in the valley during Spring Break, we were able to get together with as many of my children and grandchildren as possible.  Karl's family was in Alabama of course, and Kristopher and Kevin were ill, and the oldest 3 of those grandchildren were at other activities/commitments:  We missed you, Chesley, MaryKate, and Nikolai!  But it was so fun to get together with those that could be there!  Especially since Kris & Julie's family will be moving to Texas soon, this won't happen again for a while. At least not when we can be there, probably.  So, for now, we will enjoy these fun kiddos doing all sorts of things:
SWINGING!  Happy, silly, sibs and cousins!  From left to right, Marx is on top of Maddox, Emma on top of Colin, Ethan, and Avery!  They all jumped off to give us hugs hello, then resumed their happy swinging!
CLIMBING!
 JUMPING!
 SLIDING!   Yay Zach!!!
MORE CLIMBING!  Avery climbs around, and Emma is so thrilled she figured out how to get down, that she climbs back up!
SAND PLAY!  In this photo can you find Colin, Marx, Ethan, Maddox, Emma, and Avery?!!
Ethne decides to climb like the middle-sized kiddos!  OK, Dad is heading over to make sure she is safe!
She is doing pretty well!!!  Sara and Zach are good climbing examples!
Aren't Kyle's mischievous grins cute!
From left to right, Julie, Amy, me, and Heidi!
Sand play and visiting!
Another mischievous grin!  Hmmm, wonder why?!!!
Amy's husband Mike, Ethne, and me!
Grandma Diane's turn to be mischievous!  Pour sand on Ethne's foot, she smiles up at me then dusts off her foot.  Pour sand on my foot, she smiles up at me and dusts of my foot.  Fun game!
I love how the color of Amy's blouse shows off her eye color!  And Bill and Kyle go exploring.  Julie looks great in her work outfit---that was so nice of her to come straight from work to meet us!
And Hayden was there, too!  He is technically a great-grandson, and we got to briefly see his mom Haleigh, too.  Such a nice day for visiting!  It was nice to take a break from our sweater weather here in Show Low, and enjoy the warm weather of Mesa, and the even warmer smiles of family!!!  Life is good.
