Such a peaceful feeling around this family as they are in the middle of this big move in their lives! On their way to Texas, 2 weeks ago, we had the privilege of having Kris, Julie, and children here for Saturday afternoon and night, before they continued to Littlefield, Texas. Hi, Julie & Avery!!!
Time to get busy with crafting! Here, Marx shows me the flower centerpiece he made. So creative!
A sweet smile from Ethan in the front yard.
Maddox at the park---What a cool view!!!
Ethan, Maddox & Avery---cuter than monkeys!!! They are all growing up so fast!
Ethan demonstrates the contraption he made me, "This is called a looker, and this is how you use it."!
Ethan and HoneyBear are such good buddies! HoneyBear didn't want a different hair bow this time, but was pleased as punch to wear the pipe-cleaner and beads decorations the children created for her!
Dinner on the patio with home-made popsicles for dessert. Maddox tries a Welches grape one...
Kristopher smiles his approval of the strawberry yogurt ones!
Ethan prefers zucchini muffins to popsicles. It was so sweet to have them there in our home!
Kris & me in the kitchen. Do you like the glasses decoration Marx made for me?!!
Maddox explains brass knuckles to Grandma Diane, but makes sure I understand that this is just an example, and not the real thing, because the real brass knuckles are heavy and would hurt if you got hit by them.
Happy Avery is also such a beauty!
The next morning....HoneyBear is going to miss these sweet children and their attention...
..........a lot!
Cool Lite Brite picture! Who made this? I never learned the story behind it!
Thanks for making breakfast, Grandpa Bill !
Time for a beautiful hair-do...
Princess hair!
Sweet Mother and daughter!
Time for good-byes for now...
Maddox saw this book of Grandpa Bill's. The title relates so much to this moment: "Kiss it Goodbye". Cool analogy, Maddox!
Thank you for the sweet visit. Good luck on your new adventure! Our prayers go with you, as well as hopes that it won't be too long before you are here visiting again. We love you all, very much. Again, we are so very impressed at the peace your family has during this move---a very spiritual experience getting to be around you all. We miss you so much already.
