Geo-caching Adventure with Kris & Family!

 Avery has the best view of all!

 On the way to Show Low Creek, Avery gets to ride with us and HoneyBear.

 This adventure was on July 26th, 2012.  Does the rocky cliff behing Kristopher look familiar to any of you?  It is in one of the paintings Opa did.  Beautiful. 

 To his surprise, Kris discovers that Amy and her family had been in this exact spot just a couple weeks earlier!  But the treasure had eluded them both---it just wasn't there anymore.  Oh well, off to explore and find another!

 Grandpa Bill and HoneyBear happily help in the search.

 Hmmm, could a volcanic rock make sounds like a seashell does?  Maddox wonders.

 That's a long steep climb down there!  (My knee wasn't quite up to that much climbing yet.)

 As the sun began to get low, the mosquitos came out thickly.  They climbed up that steep incline quickly!!!

Ethan got to ride home with us and HoneyBear!  We had a lot of fun on this adventure!  Thanks, Kris and Julie and children for the fun visit and hike!
