Our friend, the black-headed grossbeak, and Bill watch each other carefully. When we first started our bird-watching adventures, they would fly away when we went outside, or came close to the windows. Now, many of them look at us, then keep feeding for a while. The "regulars" seem to definitely know the difference between us and visitors. Cool!
