MaryKate is ready for the parade! She is wearing a bonnet and skirt her mom wore when she was in a Pioneer Day parade with the Primary in Strawberry as a little girl. MaryKate looked so pioneer-ish that the first lady on this float complimented her! "You should be on a float, too!" she said.
This parade was about women pioneers, and their contributions to the church and town.
I liked this float a lot---about the mothers of the 2,000 stripling warriors in the Book of Mormon. I am thankful for the faith of all the mothers, me included, that have helped the children of the world.
What a nice parade! Especially with family to enjoy it with!
