We wore our shirts that have flags, to honor those who died and those who helped during the horrific events of 9/11/01. It was nice to see the flags at half-mast. That show of respect is important.
Shake, HoneyBear! On this day, Diane also remembers her cousin, who died on 9/11/2000, the year before, of Lou Gherig's disease.
We are thankful to live in this country, and thankful for each other.
