Check back to our former post showing the lump of snow and ice that used to be the Nissan. In this photo, the car is parked in the street while we chunk away at the ice behind where it was. Big difference!

Diane is so glad to be feeling somewhat better after the bout with a kidney stone and cabin-fever. She has been wearing pink or lavender as a continued reminder that Spring WILL come again. Notice that in this case, having her shoes match her turtleneck was more important than warm feet. So funny. The 45` we briefly enjoyed that afternoon felt wonderfully warm.

A view from the garage as HoneyBear supervises Bill's work. We were determined to finish this job that day (Tuesday), before the next storm.

See the chunks of ice on the hill behind Bill? That was what we were chipping away at. We worked with a piece of rebar to break up the pieces, then the other person shoveled the chunks away. We made a pretty good team. Having 2 vehicles in use again solves other dilemmas, too. Whew! Good work, Bill and Diane. And good supervising, HoneyBear!
