Christmas Songs and visit from Andrew, Annaliza, and Harper!

We didn't figure out this time how to take a photo of it during the call, but we sure enjoyed our Christmas Skype visit with Annaliza, Andrew and Harper, who are living in China! It was Christmas Eve here, and Christmas Day there, 14 or 15 hours time difference. How fun to get to visit with them in real time---to hear them AND see them!

Harper showed us what Santa brought to her, and sang songs she learned in Chinese Kindergarten. She has grown up so much! Beautiful and delightful!!!

Annaliza filled us in on happy events in their lives, about Harper's enjoyment of school, their upcoming move to a different part of China soon, for Andrew to teach during the next semester.

Towards the end of the call, Andrew played his guitar as they sang us some Christmas songs. What a sweet gift and memory. Thank you so much!!! We also have enjoyed the recent new blog they started with photos---very nice!

How thankful we are for the modern technology that helps families still communicate although so much distance separates us! Amazing.

(We later had computer issues when we tried to Skype call some other families, but we will try again sometime---don't give up on us!!! Oh, yes, then we also had naps that went overtime that interfered with some other attempts.......guess we ARE getting older! Give us extra time for naps AND getting comfortable with new-to-us technology! And keep trying to call us, too!)
