The Tennessee River is very close to where Karl & Charla live. They took us to this wildlife preserve near the river--- a peaceful and interesting place to visit. It is called Wheeler State Park. Karl & Charla are both very interested in photography, and took some amazing pictures, especially of a hawk feeding in the middle of a meadow! It was lovely to be in surroundings so different from Arizona, especially forests of deciduous trees. Diane is pointing to some interesting burls in trees that sometimes looked like faces. The fourth photo shows Bill under a canopy archway of trees over the path. Even tho you can see many fallen leaves on the ground, there are still so many leaves in the trees that they look full---amazing!
