Well, it is almost Bill's birthday! It is interesting that when it was Diane's birthday week, she chose shopping and a scenic nature trip as her first priorities, but Bill chose the painting project as his first priority activity! Actually, he has a scenic nature trip planned as well, but he seemed to derive enormous satisfaction in tackling this project we have been preparing for for some time. You see, we had this wall that was a terra cotta pinkish tan that was just not "us", even tho it looks lovely in other people's homes. Now, after several coats of primer and several days, it is a lovely deep blue that goes with all our things. Hurray for Bill's careful preparation and determined hard work!
