The famous "dirt pile"!!! When we went to plant tomato plants in this spot, there were absolutely NO dirt clods at all!!! Good work, Michael! That's how to get strong! We didn't get any photos of the purple flower plant that Michael picked at the store to plant, but they are healthy and growing bigger!
And to think he did it all with this little shovel! It took him many days. Every once in a while he would say, "I need to go out and work on my dirt pile".
Michael was delighted that Grandpa Bill sometimes let him play with his special toy bus!
Michael wanted some pictures with our Jeep. 1. Serious
2 & 3: Silly dancing!
Wampa thinks the "Bielefeldt fort" is a little "creeky" (creepy). The Bielefeldt fort was built by Michael's Uncle Kris and the cousins when they visited in previous years, in the forest at the end of our street. It is in a little need of repair---looks like storms or people have caved in part of it.
You know what is handy about a Wampa? If you get tired of holding it, the horns can wrap around part of your neck and hold itself up!
It also comes in handy if you forgot your hat!
Almost time for Felicia and Kit to come to take Michael home. We are all a little sad that this visit is almost over, but we have fun filling a book with photos for Michael to keep.
Thank you for coming to visit us, Michael. We liked getting to spend time with you, and will always treasure the fun times we had with you!
