We are so happy to have invited company coming for the upcoming Holidays and Birthdays! Bill wanted me to do a post that would be a gentle reminder for our guests to bring warm clothes, so here goes: I hope you can see the thermometer's details. It was around 25` the night we were out looking at the moon and stars. This week we are expecting about the same at night, and mostly in the 40's and 50's during the days.
Here is some of "Jack Frost's" handiwork, on the roof of the car. This was a dry, clear night with no snow left at all. Don't let these photos scare you off, because experiencing the seasons is part of the best fun around here. And we hope you don't spend all the time cooped up in the house. We love the outdoors, and spend at least part of every day in it!
Aren't these ice crystal designs pretty?!! Remember that we have warm gloves to share, in a bunch of children's and grown-up sizes. And some hats, sweaters, and a few boots, too. If you bring close-toed shoes and socks, and some layers, you will be fine.
We love watching the moon and stars from our yard. Some of Heavenly Father's creations can be viewed easily from here. In the daytime, too.
Now you see "the rest of the stargazing outfit"!!! So funny!!! I was already in my snowflake nightgown and fuzzy socks when we decided to go outside. So I grabbed sweatpants, a sweater, gloves, scarf, and pink plastic clogs, and we had some serene moments gazing at the heavens. You don't have to look this funny to enjoy being outside up here, but if you do, we promise not to laugh at you!
