Bill says, "If it's Bill's Lake, how come you have to call John?"
This was as close as we could legally get to Bill's Lake. Turns out, it is a private lake. Oh well.
We drove farther till we got to White Mountain Lake, where we had our picnic, and HoneyBear and Bill got to walk. (Diane has had a migraine most of the week, but is finally some better today, so Bill planned this excursion to help her feel perkier. It worked, too! She didn't get to walk much this time, but enjoyed the scenery lots and lots. And the company, too! Thanks, Bill.)
With all the warm days we have had lately, it looks more like Spring than Winter. We do hope and pray for more rain and snow, though, so our forest fire danger will be minimal this summer. But we will enjoy the warm days, too. Happy last day of January!
