Since today is COLD with a bitter wind, we thought we had better hurry up and post these photos of a day last week when it was a WARM January day! (In the 50's and so sunny we took off our gloves halfway thru our walk! There were still patches of snow in the shady spots.) We have found that putting HoneyBear's leash over one shoulder helps her stay closer to us without her pulling US as much. Saves Diane's wrists, too.

Isn't that sky so blue?

This house has painted birdhouses on each main post. Even an outhouse!

Each of the birdhouses is painted differently. Last Spring, many of them were replaced with newly painted ones. We like taking a walk this direction.

Today, as we walked by, the lady who lives there was outside. It was fun to thank her for the enjoyment their fence post birdhouses gives us. She told us that her husband paints each one. Here is one of the more weathered ones---they are cute when they are new, and have such character when they have been there a while, thru storms and sun.

Bye! Thanks for walking with us today!
