These are two of the Young Women in Park Place Ward. They are working on crocheted edges for a handkerchief to take to the Temple, in the future, when they are married there. Diane had such fun working with them! And she is looking forward to finishing the project with them in a few weeks.
To get ready for the class, Diane started laboriously measuring out crochet cotton thread, and winding it up on new pencils. Her part of the invention is cutting a slit in the eraser to hold the end of the thread when not in use. All of a sudden, Bill, who was helping to wind up the thread, looked like a light bulb lit up over his head!!! "Just a minute," he said, "I'll be back!" This little video shows you the fun and helpful result. Thanks, Bill!
