We love the way this Morning Glory vine twists around this pole, with the bird feeder Kristopher and his boys made for us on top. We have been planning this since last winter, and it came to pass!
You have to be up early in the morning to get to see a Morning Glory open. It is a peaceful privilege!
These are considered weeds by some, but they have long been one of Diane's favorite flowers. When visiting her Grandma Kathleen, Grandma would always wake Diane up by saying, "'Morning, Glory!" A special memory. It was such a privilege to be called Glory! And the shape of the flowers reminds Diane of the pretty skirts her Mother made for her, in the late 50's/early 60's: when you twirled around, the skirt was the shape of an open Morning Glory!
