HoneyBear loves camping, too! This was taken when she and Bill scouted out the perfect site a couple weeks before. She stayed at camp a couple days, then went home so we could give grandchildren and children our undivided attention!
Now you don't see it (hopefully)...
Now you do! The "throne room" was a welcome addition to our camping gear, especially for gals and kiddos. Diane had fun designing and making it for an enclosure for the latrine trench. It even had a potty chair big enough for grown-ups! The bamboo poles turned out to be a strong, but lightweight support. I guess some people might think such a thing is silly to take a photo of, but it made wilderness camping for 6 days much more sensible and do-able for us!
