Diane's brother Mike, his wife Chris, their children Michael, Julie and Amy had a rare day together and chose to spend some of it with us! With Michael and Julie college-aged, they don't get too many days together lately! It was a great afternoon! The boat races were so fun---everyone was a winner! Michael's boat was the best engineering design & most interesting position for the clothespin passenger; Julie won for the most fun boat and best sister-helper; Amy won for the most enthusiastic and most passengers (3 colorful clothespin people!); and Diane's boat won for the most duct tape used! (Somehow she thought Michael would win for that...if you don't know about his legendary duct tape works, ask us next time you see us!) Even tho' they didn't have boats this time, Chris won for best cheerleader, Mike won for best boat-picker-upper-after, and Bill for best movie-taker and protector/carrier of Diane's boat! Looking forward to seeing those movies, Bill!

This is as far as the rest of us want to go---Amy doesn't mind getting muddy! (She's getting a new outfit at Walmart before the rest of their activities! What nice parents she has!)

What to do when the little sister doesn't want to go yet? Swoop her up and carry her off, giggling all the way! That's one good thing about strong big brothers!!!
