Carter, Flower the Skunk, and Grandpa Bill go on a 1/2 mile adventure. They saw thickets (where baby deer are born!), different kinds of scat (animal poop), and more!
We got here, and camp is set-up! Time for the guys to take a breather and the gals and babe to act cute!
These pictures are all out of order, but, oh well! Here, Nate wanders under the close supervision of his Mom, while the other 4 cousins show their camping expertise: Yep, they know how to do it! The important thing is to set up your camping chairs all together in the very best spot! Then move them to another spot when it is time.

Aaah! Gabby got first dibs on Grandma Diane's lap for a story!
Have skunk and binoculars, will travel! Carter and Faith were walking buddies here. Carter said that she hoped people in the forest would see her skunk and be afraid!!!
Solomon leaves the girls to learn about guy stuff, especially fire! Dad David makes sure he learns from a safe distance, while the other Dad, Robert, cooks on a campstove in the background. Lots of good cooking at this camp!
Meanwhile, the girls busy themselves at the washing station. First they cleaned their hands, then potatoes for Grandma Diane!
Before bed, its time for a silly story from Uncle David, around the campfire...
Oops! Out of order again! Diane likes cooking with this sweet audience...is there a cable show called Grandma cooks at camp? And, yes, that is a skunk toy on Carter's head. She had so many ways of keeping that skunk nearby---we were impressed that she never forgot it!
